How Your Brain Decides Without You

The first step in creativity is to rigorously define and investigate  the "PROBLEM'.  From that it is possible to possibly shift your perspective.  Doing this allows new data to flow to you and be identified.  All this supports the development of a fresh cognition.

What i want to share though is none of this is particularly easy as our brains are terribly conservative or at least powerfully inclined to jump immediately to what we think we know and natural opposition.

When the 'PROBLEM" appears obvious, it is important to rigorously define and to investigate.  Make yourself do this.  Inevitably something falls out onto your lap.
