Creating Water in the desert

This catches us up on this type of technology.  Folks are getting serious and it is turning out to be real easy.  This is in the Atacama desert.  Add those passive pots and cone shaped rigs in the Sahel and we have a really neat tech that asks for nothing.

These are all demonstrations so far, but it is just too easy to set these out on a field in row formation with planting on either side and using the produced water to support drip irrigation as well as crop line under the edge of the collector.

I would plant a row of beans directly under simply because the plants will climb up through the mesh and facilitate the daily shower.  that alone should lead much of the water into the roots and you can be sure the plants will quickly adapt as well..
