all this allowed CNR to buy up the primary chicago to New Orleans rail line a couple of decades ago. And just three years ago, CPR bought up the Kansas railline connecting Chicago to Mexico city. We now have two rapidly improving rail links to the gulf and also central Mexico. The first grain train left winnepeg for mexico city a couple of months past and away we go. A barge on the mississippi does not cut it any more.
the entire USA rail system demands this level of competance and yes the way out is certainly Canadian led professional management. This obviously benefits Canada as well now that we already have the chicago New orleans and Mexico connect worked out.
