WE are getting there you know.  now do contemplate the original Dyson sphere which is stating that an advanced civilization could form a shell around its sun in order to capture all the energy to use.  now understand mycloud cosmology and the plausible idea that the Sun and way more important all planets are themselves Dyson spheres with an inner sun..  Pretty convenient

now we need space stations.  these are hub systems along with a suspension system working with a balloon with a say one mile radius which is rotating to provide a g force along the outer surface.  agai a rim is best.  Now we have technology that can absorb light energy and turn it into transmittable power.  That is what this item describes.

We can use this to power an impulse EM motor accelerating space dust for traveling ot tose other planets as well.
