This sets up the creation of eye enhancement tech expanding the visible spectrum actually seen. We actually need it.
Robots are nice enough ,but human access is just as important and can be expanded to make disease anomolies visible in a field.
And how about inspecting a tree trunk for voids. Rather important folks.

Hidden Object Superpower for Robots! Researchers at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology have developed an imaging technique that allows robots to detect and reconstruct objects hidden inside boxes or behind barriers using millimeter-wave signals. The system, called mmNorm, uses signals similar to those used in Wi-Fi that can pass through materials such as cardboard, plastic, and interior walls. By analyzing how these waves bounce off hidden objects, the system can generate detailed 3D reconstructions even when the items are not directly visible. In testing, the technology achieved up to 96% reconstruction accuracy, significantly higher than many existing systems. It was able to identify and reconstruct objects with complex shapes, including tools and household items. The approach could improve automated inspection and quality control in warehouses and factories by allowing robots to examine packaged goods without opening them. Researchers also note that similar systems could support robotic inspection tasks in manufacturing environments and other settings where objects are obstructed from view. 📌Source: Massachusetts Institute of Technology Credit: CTTO #Robotics #AI #FutureTech
