It is not sudden is it ,but it is now inexorable.  no one wamts to allow a random US president inflect itself on them as Trump has shown us it is a real and present risk and USA hegemony has become a real burden that can be asserted anytime.

All this has led to vacating the USA Dollar which is a disaster for the USA.  It is not just Europe folks, it is Asia as well.  A fortress wall of gentlemans agreements are been vacated and Trump seriously had no clue at all. i woke up when he put tarrifs on canadian aluminium which was beyond stupid.

Of coourse, canada now takes over the global grain trade which was held at bay since WWII.  understand that even all USA grain is best shipped though prince rupert or montreal. via Chicago.  And the entire rail system that can do this is Canadian.

This entire transition was geographically inevitable.  Trump merely catalized it through pure ignorance.

Now imagine proto provinces emerging such as Scotland Ireland and even England along with New England. southern Great lakes region,The Dakotas Greater Salish Sea and Alaska all finding common cause with the Canadian Confederation.  this is a movie that could be run for decades as it would have to anyway.  My main point is that geography encourages just that.
