Giant horned owl

Here we have an eye witness report of a giant horned owl standing four feet tall and close up.  This is at least twice the hieght of the great horned owl and obviously a giant form of it.  The wing span thus must be at least ten feet which conforms to their closeness and viewing angle.  This is an actual eye wirness confirmation of the existence of a giant horned owl.

I had suspected as much fron the mothman reports in particular.  There are other species of giant flying creatures out there as well, but this confirms the existence of giant owls.  They in particular should exist.  Big always means a lot fewer and a broader hunting range making discovery frequency very low.

The bird makes it living hunting jack rabbits at night and it beds up inside a conifer during the day well out of sight.  This is a pretty easy lifeway and avoids us completely.

It is nice to have one that is so easy to actually identify.
