Raising Cattle on 100% Grass in San Diego - Regenerative Farming

250 head of cattle in really dry country on 3500 acres.  This is San Diego.  Original condition was burned off weed infested land with suppressed wildlife.

Carbon content is climbing and growth is exponential almost the beginning of the  cattle impact.  In eight months wildlife began showing up.

As I have posted, This form of agriculture restores soil vigor and allows a literal doubling of stocking rates.  In this case i suspect that water retention is also taking off.

Meet John Austel of 4J Horse and Livestock a family operated cattle ranch in San Diego, California raising cattle on 100% grass from start to finish. He'll tell us all about how he raises his cows from calf to harvest, the amazing regenerative effect grazing cattle has had on the land and the state run
