Quite obviously the world of academe has promoted a massive financial bloat that serves no one. unless you are a high paid administrator. Recall this present system converts true knowledge workers into factory workers. And the best are just a few and soon pensioned off.
Suddenly this world has direct competition in the delivery of essentially conventional resources.
Understand that I am the only person that can add useful new material to our core first and second year Calculus course. 30,000 mathematicians can teach the current material without a problem. though knowing my work will redirect emphasis.
The fact is that first and second year material in most of the programs have changed little and cannot change much until the student has the tools and concepts.
