Staying warm is an issue and disruptions are likely all over, so it is wise to at least think it all through.  Yet most of us do have plenty of spare clothing that can be used in a pinch. That is what layering is all about.

To be way more mobile, then warm vests work well and all that.  more than that is just inconvenient.

These battery driven systems are still time limited and need to be rationed.  If in a cold house, a stack of wool blankets is pretty flexible.

In some places like Kyiv, they are warning residents that they must prepare for the worst this winter — and that means having no electricity, water, or heat in the freezing cold. Some people find that even when they have their heating on full blast, they are still cold.
