Bamboo Plastic.

This is an update on the surging bamboo industry.  from this it is clear that the technical problems are easily overcome.  ground bamboo powder is strong in at least one direction allowing superior plastic blends to produce superior plastic products.

It may even avoid dusty toilette paper.

Seeing it been machine processed is so welcome as that drives the costs down. now imagine a bilion straws replacing all plastic straws.  both paper and plastic are awful.  this is not.  And yes we are getting bamboo spoons shaped as well.

The factories are now happening.

With bamboo-based products on the rise, we wanted to see how they compared to their plastic and paper counterparts. We went to Taiwan and China for a behind-the-scenes look at how bamboo is turned into cups, lunchboxes, toilet paper, and cutlery — and figured out which of these products have the biggest impact on our environment.
