This is an excellent description of the natural ecosystem of a wild valley and how it naturally controls wolf populations. The big eye opener is understanding that human built roads and trails completely changes all that long before we strip out cut blocs. Do watch it.
I do think that forest recovery helps reverse the worst impact, but not the road problem. This has to be betrer though out, but it certainlt necessitates culling excess wolves now wiping out hte herds.
This is a really good insight that i had never seen shared.
