This item is a real surprise, but it should not be. All natural communities worked a specific land region and they worked directly to optimize it. That included creating useful fields. Much more important they addressed the potentialities of everything in their environment and that i can assure you is no small trick.
In fact that is what true organic farming will naturally evolve toward while adding the added advantage of mechanized support which limited the aboriginals. Our future includes mastering a full local knowledge and ultimately deploying robot support.
A rather different world to what we now have but easily able to support a global population of 100,000,000,000.
