Turns out that the Kamloops tale was a hoax.  Actually thought as much. understand that the residential school system lasted over half a century and served a real purpose.  that was to usher in all children innto modern education.  of course it was messy and folks, it was equally messy for orphans and foster childern.

these were all experiences folks survived and soon enough grew out of.  throughout children died from chilhood diseases.  We all forget just how dicey life was back before any of you were born.

this was ultimately deliberate misinterpetation of remote sensing data and noone pulled out a shovel?
