Imperial TERRAN SPACE FLEET

First I want to point out that the global surface fleet is sliding into obsolesence put off only because we have not actually admited the existence of an extant USA Space fleet out there already.  This was opperational as early vas 1980 and was actually used in 1990.  The ships involved are all gravity ships and are large in order to carry their hardware.  Football field large.  And you do not know that they exist.

If such a ship should exist, it can launch a rod from GOD on any actual surface vessal it so chooses and produce an atmospheris blast able to eliminate a whole surface armada such as a landing force approaching Taiwan.  China knows this.

My central point is that even without a Space Fleet, missles and drones are making surface ships obsolete and curtailing submarine effectiveness as well.  The era of surface fleets is over and needs to be deployed only as an international enterprise to deter private small scale enterprise alone.

This does provide the more general opportunity to actually unite the worlds Navies under a singular command structure tasked with right sizing the surface fleet   in general while acknowledging it decling importance.  This can be also used to establish a common govetrnance platform for a confederation of the willing as well.  

sooner or later, the USA will no longer want to pay for what is a global fleet which should be carried by everyone.  And transitioning to the TERRA SPACE FLEET is something everyone on earth wants a part of.
