Night soil history

We all grew up with a natural aversion to human waste ,but common sense tells us this is not science unless your brain is S**t.

It was always necesasary to manage the problem and from that we have succeeded.  What needs to be done is to proerly manage it.

It happens to be a valuable feedstock that is easily improved using biological methods.  Even simply dried and blended with biochar would end odor problems.  At least biochar is now hitting critical mass and going mainstream.  Twenty years folks and they still do not know what they have.

The ban on night soil was a fashion statement in the time and place. Reversing it will have to happen under the cover of darknessws and integrating with biochar will make a superb soil additive to support fertilization which needs to be  blended with soil to properly apply.
