I am posting this item discussing Russian secrecy regarding Venus. Reworked data showed up potential anomolies best thought of as small life forms not unlike our own crustaceans. Just Saying.
what is important is that sunlight creates local visibility.
The real problem with Venus is that the atmosphere is hot at around 450 C which I propose is actualy impossible unless the crust itself is also that hot. We have ample volcanic activity able to produce the atmosphere. All this proclaims that molten rock is likely close to the surface.
Does life exist here? We have our own global distribution of extremophiles. That at least lifts the bar and local life emergence was also in extreme conditions utterly unlike our own.
Our mission will be to disturb water based comets in from the kuiper belt and bombard Venus.
This may also be suprisingly recent if it was ejected by jupiter as per cultural claims. Understand those claims predicted a near molten rock surface as we would expect with underlying lava. Otherwise it has all had time to cool regardless of the greenhouse effect..
