China just announced the construction of the Wolds First nuclear power plant fueled by molten Thorium salt.

I have been tracking thorium systems for the duration of this Blog.  Quite simply, thorium reactors will do two things.  It will handily replace all uranium based systems and better yet, they will consume all dangerous nuclear material to produce additional energy and see it all off as harmless isotopes.

It not one hundred percent, so much as to eliminate the risk.  Uranium was only chosen ever to support bomb making.

Once we have the first working, then many can be built to cleanup up the problems.
