Utah man is stalked by a MOUNTAIN LION

Let us talk about this.  We do have serious predators out there quite able to take down the unwary.  Our rising problem is that their population is improving steadily and our own presence is also slackening in rural areas.  This will not get better anytime soon

this is working for them because deer, pig and turkey populations have grown by leaps and bounds.  thus we can become prey of opportunity easy enough.

The best defense is simply to have buddy.  This makes it very hard for a preditor to play us.  and as this item has shown us, at least pack a pistol.  that close you are in serious danger and his hind legs will tear your guts out.

That had to be one hungry mountain lion.  This was daytime.  Scary.

Other preditors are certainly wolves and bears though we are told otherwise.  Oppertunity is deadly.

The other one is not the Sasquatch, but the giant Sloth also called the Dogman.  unfortunately, you will be dead before you notice.  again your best defense is a buddy here.

In his right hand Erickson holds a Glock pistol pointed at the lion, prepared in case it chose to strike.

During the video Erickson can be heard breathing heavily as he moved backwards with the gun in hand.

'Get back,' he can was heard warning the lion firmly.

The lion begins to increase its pace until once about 20 feet away it lurches forward with both front legs extended. At that very moment the Erickson fires a singlehanded shot with the gun in his right hand.

Its unclear whether it was a warning shot or Erickson was aiming for the cat, but it dashes a few meters before turning back to face Erickson once more.

Mountain lions can be found throughout Idaho. Game agencies have estimated that across the approximately 300,000 square miles of forest in the western states there are between 20,000 and 40,000 mountain lions.

Mountain lion attacks are rare and unlikely to be fatal. There are 27 fatal mountain lion attacks on record in North America.
