The SN1 build has begun

Watch this podcast.  The build rate keeps ramping up.  what is wonderful has been the switch to stainless steel.  suddenly we escaped design tolerances that massively slowed the build time.  Now it is just stainless steel.

Again this is all possible because of increasing size.  Better yet, we can rumble through prototype to production fast through 3d printing and the full computerization of all aspects of the build.  The whole contraption can fly virtually long before anyone cuts metal.

We are now beginning to see the march of the space elephants.  This launcher will lift a full 100 tons or one rail car equivalernt.  Now understand that a ten percent increase in size will result in a massive increase in lifting capacity.  You can imagine a ten percent increase.  The lift will be a lot more than one rail car.

This allows us to buid a hub like space frame for a massive space station in near earth orbit.   This can be rotated up to use suspension cables to to create one g living and work space.

SpaceX's brand new Super Heavy monster is coming. Yep, the SN1 build has begun. Overall, another action-packed week of news at Boca Chica with starship development. The SN7.1 prototype test to destruction, super heavy components finally being spotted, and more exciting news about the first prototype that should fly over 18 kilometers or 60,000 feet in altitude. Yep, Starship SN8 is getting closer. Along with that, some interesting news with Firefly Alpha, Relativity Space, and NASA.
