I did notice a beverage retail site simply selling the fruit as a simple drink with no dilution. The fruit is merely tossed into the blender and nothing is added. Very nice actually and fresh as you watch it been made. $5.00 Canadian for a large glass. Can it be that easy?
Also have discovered recipes for a mild curried white rind dish. I suspect it tastes better than most curried melons or squashes which always struggle to stand out. It is also clear that the white rind could also make a good pickle and may well shine to cut the power of pickled strongly flavored fruits and vegetables. There is a lot of room here and dried white rind. may even fly as well.
Then we come to the possibility of pickling the green rind which will soften the skin allowing it to be eaten, Of course the product may not be that attractive but then i think as much of some Indian Curries as well such as pickled green limes.
