In an earlier post we remarked that Dark Matter accumulates to produce the environment able to induce self assembly of neutron neutron pairings and their resultant decay product of free electrons, a neutrino and the hydrogen atom. This naturally fuels every star we see out there.
What is also interesting is that we are traveling within an envelope of such Dark Matter enclosing the galaxy. Velocity and direction has been identified and measured as well in research confirming the existence of the Aether. I am not satisfied that it has all been put together yet but it is out there.
Assuming such envelopes are also concentrated it is plausible to speculate that the void in between is unconcentrated whatever this precisely means and that this explains the dearth of star creation outside galaxies.
However at all times we may deduce that the sun is passing through concentrated Dark Matter within our Galaxy.
This infers that the Sun has a stable intake of Dark Matter to convert to hydrogen. Thus it can never actually run out of fuel and may actually even grow. It is also obviously close to steady state.
This does mean that over vast reaches of time the star will still accumulate larger elements in different proportions than predicted by a pure fusion calculation.
Conjecture: Stars serve to consume dark matter or second tier matter and produce third tier matter. In the process the bulk of the gravity is carried off. Thus a galaxy may actually dissipate gravity in this manner both at the star level and at the galactic core.
All this has provided a mechanism that allows a galaxy to form, concentrate and consume its own gravity as well, while producing a supply of third tier matter that ultimately fills space to be sponged up by another Proto Galaxy
