The witness of His reality has been with me ever since that November evening in '69. I actually met Jesus, spiritually. That introduction has impacted my life in so many good ways...there is not space or time enough.

As I understand, His message was spread by Orthodox Jews. They taught that the Christ had been born, lived & was crucified for our sin. And that He had been raised from death.

Some of these wrote the New Testament & claimed to do so based on their own personal witness of what they wrote about. Peter & John both claimed to be eyewitnesses. I'd like to know, why these Orthodox Jews, who themselves were faithful to Judaism & knew the OT command to not bear false witness, would go around spreading a lie that Jesus was alive if the knew He was not. By spreading the message of Christ they also knew they were putting their & their families lives at risk. Yet they took that risk based on what the knew was a lie? I don't think so.

Anyone reading this may disagree. But how about reading the New Testament any way just to see what it says?

I have experienced the love of Nature's God, the Creator Elohim, as expressed in Christ, the Messiah. Though I can never be convinced Jesus is a mere man or a myth, I am not obtuse on the issue. If you don't agree fine. I won't argue any one to death. But I do know what happened in me that November evening. I was not hallucinating. It would have worn off by now and I would not have been changed the way I was for the better.

I'd already had a lot of hallucinations, it was the 60's after all. :-) The experience I had with Yeshua Messiah was not one of them. I'd been drug free about 10 days at the time.

Though it has been a while, I have posted here before.

Thank you.

Sam FoxSam Foxnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1752027331714385066.post-84416109041818489292015-11-16T18:44:26.320-08:002015-11-16T18:44:26.320-08:00This "doubter" ignores much proven histo...This "doubter" ignores much proven historic evidence, like a letter from Pontius Pilate to Caesar about Jesus's followers, detractors, influence and execution. He presumes too much about what went on the minds of certain individuals in the First Century. Heck, JFK was murdered in fronts of thousands of witnesses with cameras and microphones of all kinds, and we still can't believe the official story that will be the basis for future historians to write about so pompously. Why not? Because even our thoughts and synapses firings are directed by input from the outside. The food we eat, the salt content of our brains, our past experiences, and a host of other things determine what we believe and how we act.

There is no pure random. If we say that quantum mechanics has shown us that pure random exists, it is only because nobody has applied QM to the opposite. QM is only complex probability.

Since there is no pure random, everything is pre-programmed. There is no free will. All the thoughts and sayings of the wise (or foolish) have been handed down over the ages from whatever source that set everything into play.

Without considering the source that set everything into play, all theoretical, idealistic ideas mean nothing, no matter who the great thinker is that thinks them up.

BlackAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
