Electric stimulation is inherently crude yet may well also act to reset. That reset could trigger a relearning process that reinforces previous work and allows unnatural errors to be corrected. What we see here though is gentle progress and should be actively worked with. At worst it provides a controlled learning environment that alone enhances learning.
From this there is still more empirical work to do and it is promising.
Obviously this can become an excellent therapeutic tool to add to our rather meager arsenal when it comes to mind.
