May 2012 - We passed one million page views - thanks and Join already :-) September 2010 I am pleased to report that my essay titled A NEW METRIC WITH APPLICATIONS TO PHYSICS AND SOLVING CERTAIN HIGHER ORDERED DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS' has been published by Physics Essays published by the American Institute of Physics and appeared in their June 2010 quarterly. 40 years ago I took an honors degree in applied mathematics from the University of Waterloo. My interest was Relativity and my last year there saw me complete a 900 level course under Hanno Rund on his work in relativity,as well as differential geometry(pure math) and of course analysis. I continued researching new ideas and knowledge since that time and I have prepared a book for publication titled 'Paradigms Shift'. I maintain my blog as a day book and research tool to retain data and record impressions and interpretations on material read. Do take this moment to join my blog and receive Four items of interest daily Monday through Saturday. Since my topics are usually unique or at least obscure, the ads running through adsense are often interesting and worth dipping into while also supporting this blog in a small way.

105 Rossi Focardi Catalytic Reactors Operating Continously

This is of course the most important technological discovery ever.  It is deliverable free energy.  Civilization’s energy cost will now approach zero.  I really cannot say this more strongly.

Every other presently established energy source is today obsolete because of this.

It does not approach the projected perfection of the focus fusion technology or even the other fusion protocols, but they have not been successful either as yet.  This is clearly successful by merely producing an economic surplus of heat from the very beginning and not producing confounding radiation.

That is all civilization asks for after all.  The rest is helpful and important, but free heat can easily be used by our present technology everywhere.

Rossi is now providing skeptics with their own reactors to play with and this assures us that wide confirmation of the empirical results will be quickly achieved.  After that we will see a flood of operational reactors producing heat and power.

What this all means is that nuclear power is clearly and immediately obsolete and will be swiftly decommissioned and mothballed just as fast as these power systems can be installed.

All other power production systems will now be relegated to standby basis as quickly as possible.

In practice, this reactor will have two products.  One is electrical grid power and this is best distributed anyway.  The other will be plenty of waste heat and since these plants can be built in the downtown of a large city, and should be, the waste heat can be consumed into the local heating grid through hot water systems.

We have only hoped for something like this from the dawn of the nuclear age when we first understood E = mc2.  We now have it and I will admit that it is a surprise but also the culmination of the original suggestive experiments on cold fusion which pointed at the possibility.

The conjecture that a crystalline atomic structure is able to provide a path past the Coulomb barrier is now plausibly shown to be possible.  It may take us another century to work out the theoretical details, but who cares?

Rossi and Focardi Energy Catalyzer

MAY 02, 2011

Pure Energy Systems reports that Andrea Rossi has stated that there are currently 105 E-Cat modules in continuous operation. Rossi claims these are modules that will be used in the one megawatt plant, and that he is personally constructing additional units every day.

Andrea Rossi has announced that an E-Cat unit will be sent to both the University of Uppsala and the University of Stockholm for extended testing. Perhaps after working with the device themselves, skeptics such as these two will eventually change their minds.

If Rossi’s technology works as advertised it could mean that a revolution in energy production is on the horizon. Rossi has said that he will be charging 1 cent per kWh initially for the electricity he produces. That is approximately one tenth of the average cost of electricity in the US

The e-cat device looks very simple with pipes and some catalyzation of nickel nanopowders.

Scaling up to hundreds of factories is logistically doable within three years, which would be the case if Gigawatts of clean power could be reliably produced at ten times lower cost.
